What it does
- From a photo of an invoice, a sticker or the service book: the date, the garage, what was done, the mileage, and the next due if it's printed. Otherwise you tell me, or confirm a repeat (“every year”).
- Your car maintenance reminder, and the home's: the service, the inspection, the boiler check, the tyre swap, a month before, then a week before. Testing the smoke alarms: on the day. Something late? I tell you on the 1st of the month.
- “Boiler checked today”, and it's done, the next date set. I keep dates, I don't repair: no DIY on gas, electrics or the boiler. A smell of gas or a CO alarm: get out and call the gas emergency number or 112, now. A red light on the dashboard means stop safely and call a garage.
Before you start
What to keep an eye on: the car, the boiler, the smoke alarms… The last invoice or the service book helps.
